About the press
Red Hydra Press is the private press of Steve Miller, based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where Miller coordinates the MFA in Book Arts program at the University of Alabama. The press produces handmade limited editions and broadsides, letterpress printed and bound by hand, often collaborating with contemporary poets and artists. Miller previously founded the influential Red Ozier Press (1976-1988), whose archive was acquired by the New York Public Library.
