About the press
Holloway Press is a private press established at the University of Auckland in 1994, opening with the publication of Allen Curnow's Looking West, late afternoon, low water. Its early books were designed and printed by poet-printer Alan Loney; after a revival in 2001 under publisher Peter Simpson, most books have been designed, printed and bound by Tara McLeod.
