About the press

Incorporated in 1974 in New York City, the Center for Book Arts is the oldest U.S. nonprofit dedicated to the book as an art form. It supports artists through education, studio access, exhibitions and community programs, and publishes and sells letterpress chapbooks and limited-edition works in its bookshop.
